The COLOMBIAN ASSOCIATION OF CATTLE BREEDERS CHAROLAISE, CHARBRAY AND ITS CROSSES "ASOCHAROLAISE - CHARBRAY", is a non-profit livestock association, endowed with legal status, monitored, controlled and with Official Approval 20091100128581 of July 29, 2009 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, who exercises its inspection in accordance with the provisions of Decree 1279 of 1994 and Decree 2716 of 1994.

ASOCHAROLAISE - CHARBRAY was born on June 19, 2009, after the concerns of a group of farmers with the desire to maximize the results of their livestock population with respect to meat production, obtain higher yields and economic profitability; By analyzing each of their experiences in the field and exchanging results, conducting performance studies in the carcass, crosses and breeding pure animals, they concluded that the Charoláis breed is the one that obtained the best results in the shortest time. For this reason and with great enthusiasm they began to work for a common good, importing new genetics in order to have more lines to work towards and continue to expand the nuclei that were available up to that moment, spreading the benefits of the breed. , its benefits and making it known throughout the country,

As we have grown our genetic nuclei, we are strengthening as a union and achieving special recognition from large ranchers, who have been linked in order to work as a team for the excellence of the breed in Colombia; likewise Asocharolaise - Charbray, is part of the National Union of Colombian Livestock Associations - UNAGA; which allows us to access improvement programs, strategic alliances for promotion, research and advance in our objective of dissemination and positioning.

Currently the headquarters of the Association is located in the city of Bogotá DC and our associates are located in the departments of Antioquia, Arauca, Boyacá, Caldas, Casanare, Cauca, Cundinamarca, Norte de Santander, Meta, Quindío, Valle.
